Innovation meets the future: The Digital Real Estate Management course visits PAUL
Marc Pion

When theory meets practice, there is room for real insights - especially when it comes to highly topical issues in the real estate industry: decarbonization, digitalization and decentralized energy supply.
Exciting insights at the PAUL test stand
This is exactly what the 4th semester students on the Digital Real Estate Management course at Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences were able to experience first-hand during their visit to PAUL Tech AG.
Experts Oliver Polzer, Sven Sütterlin and Sanel Kazaferovic provided exciting insights at the test and control station in Mannheim:
- How does a heat pump work?
- What role does artificial intelligence play?
- And what exactly is a digital twin?
Questions to which there were first-hand answers.
It was particularly exciting for us to experience innovations such as the use of AI, the digital twin and the operator model directly in practice - here at PAUL, where these topics are already being implemented today.

On-site tour of production in Ladenburg
The tour then continued to the recently moved site in Ladenburg, where the entire PAUL production facility was relocated just a few weeks ago - a step taken to cope with the growing order volume. Production Manager Stefan Jech presented the two new production lines and gave the group a tour of the site.
We were very pleased to be able to accompany the students today. For us, this is a successful start to possible joint projects and future collaboration with the TH Aschaffenburg.
