This video offers insights into the production of heat pumps for PAUL Net Zero in Ladenburg.
Daniel Roos, Production Manager, has been involved in the planning of the new facilities from the very beginning. He shares his journey from mechatronics technician to production manager and explains how the new production hall in Ladenburg was designed.
Stefan Jech, Head of Production, introduces PAUL Net Zero and outlines how we are building one of the largest heat pump production facilities in Germany.
Sascha Müller, CEO of PAUL Tech AG, highlights the strategic advantages of the Ladenburg location - including excellent transport and public transit connections, as well as significant expansion potential thanks to large logistics halls ideally suited for future growth.

April 2025
In April, a total of 80 heat pumps plus housing components were delivered to our new production site in Ladenburg. We expect another 80 heat pumps by the end of April.
Due to the significantly larger quantity of material, the increased production volume, and the changed conditions of an expanded production environment, we have also invested in industrial trucks and on-site safety—and have redesigned our entire production hall and ancillary rooms to provide us with significantly more space.
The 80 heat pumps that have been delivered are now being quality-checked and parameterized by our production team and then assembled with the piping sets and housings we produce.
The PAUL heat pumps refined in this way are then shipped as a complete package to our customers' properties – in this way, we plan to connect approximately 850 residential units to PAUL Net Zero in April.

Following the successful launch of the first pilot buildings, four further pilot projects are now nearing completion. The results show that CO₂-neutral existing properties can be achieved in a short period of time and without expensive renovations.
At the same time, we have started planning for the entire portfolio – the first tendering processes are already underway for a volume of around 2,500 residential units.
We are also moving up a gear in terms of operations: the scaling of our operations organization is in full swing to make PAUL Net Zero available across the board.
