Cloud Backend Engineer (m/w/d)
As a IoT Cloud Backend Engineer you will be contributing to our Event Driven IoT Streaming Platform that drives our OT infrastructure.
Working closely with our team of visionaries you will analyze new requirements, challenge new ideas and design new Microservices that control our IoT device infrastructure through Apache Kafka and MQTT. Thanks to your passion for quality, you apply best practices when developing, testing, debugging, and documenting new functions to get them ready for deployment through our CI/CD pipeline.
Technical Skillset:
- You have an excellent understanding of Event Driven and Microservice Architectures
- Ideally, you have some experience with MQTT
- You have experience with data de-serialization and schema migration with JSON, Protobuf, and Avro
- You have experience with Kafka, Kafka Streams, or ksqlDB
- You are proficient in Golang, Java or Python and you don't shy away from adopting a new language when the job demands it.
- You know frameworks like Micronaut and Spring Boot
Optional Technical Skills:
- You have experience implementing REST APIs and GraphQL
- You have experience with NoSQL and RDBMS databases
- You handle Linux and Docker with ease
- You know tools of the trade like Git by heart
